De nos jours, je crois que cette chanson dénonce le «God is on our side» plutôt que l'égo patriotique.

Je trouve la chanson très intelligent mais, Trop Américains pensent réellement que Dieu a créé l'Amérique. Cest ridicule. Je suis bien Américain , rassure-toi. Nous avons besoin de moins de cette pensée, pas plus. de toute façon, je comprends le sentiment.

@wauwiii You probably don't understand the lyrics. He says god is an American, a French, a Russian and a German. What he means is that everyone depicts ''God'' as his own, which, in a more litteral way, that everyone think they're right about their religion, their believes, etc, he means that every religion thinks it's the real one, the one who has the truth. That's the message of the song, the name isn't nasty at all, well, when you listen to the lyrics.
