Twenty minutes later, they picked up their instruments and started playing.

I very much doubt there was any keys on this demo. Nick tends to loop a segment of work and then play over it with more delay...creating a background ambience, which does sound alot like keys! The man's a genius!
i agree he's a genius,a god even no one comes close to his guitar playing he creates something special hard to put into words,blue pacific ocean is another stunning song desperate to get a copy of it,hope they make another album and tour,never saw them live.
Unfortunately they won't be, as they have broken up. However, Ashcroft is continuing his solo career, and McCabe has, along with the drummer (whose name escapes me) formed a new band.
