Everlasting Covenant

The Everlasting Covenant to King David is fulfilled and continued in the Baha'i Faith. The purpose of the Covenant to King David that his throne and lineage will endure forever is so that we can recognize the true Kingdom of God on earth. Baha'u'llah is the Return of Christ and the Prince of Peace ruling upon the throne of King David. This is the Holy Grail of the Royal Blood line found in the true Baha'i Faith and continued forever through the Aghsan male lineal descendents of Baha'u'llah.

The British monarchy is not descended from David on the throne line. The throne line of Kings went from Babylonian exile up into Persia until returning to the Holy Land with the coming of Baha'u'llah. Today the current heir is alive & well in the United States.

shoghi never appointed another guardian in his 'life time' therefore he didnt have a succesor. he signed a document saying shoghi effendi didnt assign a seccesor. can you tell me why he signed it if he was asigned as the 2nd guardian?

What you are saying is that Shoghi Effendi broke the Covenant by not fulfilling his "incumbent" duty. That is totally unacceptable & untrue.

Are you aware that 'Abdu'l-Baha commanded that Shoghi "MUST" appoint a successor "within his life-time"?

Shoghi did fulfill his end of the Covenant, & did not fail as you suggest.

Shoghi was the "unique" guardian, NOT on the throne of David, as he was from the female line of David through The Master's daughter. It is fact that 'Abdu'l-Baha adopted as his "real son" Charles Mason Remey (see bupc dot org for more) whom Shoghi appointed by welcoming as President (executive, pg. 15 of W&T) of the IBC/UHJ. The Will states that if Shoghi had no biological son, he MUST appoint "another branch [persian:ghusn]", a male descendant of 'Abdu'l-Baha. He had no other choice.

Also, to further the thread, it is also wise for people to understand that under Shoghi Effendi's writings the BIC is his successor--which is the UHJ in embryonic form, therefore this institution with the delineated executive-legislative branches are mandatory harmonious aspects of it & cannot be authenticated outside of this divine delineation.

Adam, all your points are well-established. Abdu'l-Baha did delineate that Shoghi Effendi must accomplish his duties of fulfilling the UHJ--which according to BOTH Abdu'l-Baha & His grandson should have the PRESIDENT (executive branch) residing! For those who are apparently not educated in Baha'i history--Baha'u'lluh stated His UHJ would be established on Mt. Carmel, where the current placements are for it to be constructed already exist, so no other place could be the legitimate UHJ.
