On-line pole dancing tutorial: Reverse Grab Spin and Reverse Grab Stag

For my personal practice and routine vids please visit my other channel http://www.youtube.com/user/dirdybirdy101

IMPORTANT: Please warm up before any rigorous exercise to help reduce risk of injury. Some warm ups before dancing:
- shoulder rolls
- arm swings
- head rolls and stretches
- rotate wrists and stretch them
- warm up torso by doing body rolls, torso twists
- squats, light stretches (do longer and deeper stretches AFTER a workout)
- push ups

Note: Pole dancing, like other forms of sport or physical activity, involves risk of injury. I'll try my best to provide the best advice and information to minimise these risks, however, this responsibility is ultimately yours. Take care, and don't over push yourself. Always start from the bottom and work your way up. DO NOT attempt a move that you are not ready for

  • Great video thank you. Is it possible to do this in static mode or should it always be on spin?

  • @loobieloo19 This tutorial is on spinny and static mode, please watch whole video :)

  • I have real trouble with my hands just sliding down the pole, i find it hard to find any grip and wel doing this pole i just end up bashing my body into the pole :/

  • @Flopsykw Yes. One, you need to build up strength in your arms and grip so keep going. And two, you should try tite grip, or dry hands for sweaty hands.

  • I have been having trouble with this one. Do the feet not come off the ground until the bottom (left hand) is one the pole?

  • @TNBrunette007 If you're just a beginner, grab the pole with both hands before lifting both legs of ground. When you get strong enough to spin with one hand, then you can lift legs before grabbing the pole with the bottom hand.

  • @phoska Try swinging the swinging leg back faster. Create momentum. Don't forget to lift both legs off or no spin

  • @MissDirdyBirdy its a spinning pole.

  • @phoska is your pole static or spin?

  • @bella101ify In the future
