Guitarist and classical virtuoso Stephanie Jackson plays "Ding Dong, The Witch Is Dead" (from the Wizard of Oz) on a new Loar LH-350-VS archtop.

This was Stephanie's first time in Backstage Music, and she graciously consented to wear out one of our guitars for the camera. This is a totally impromptu, in-store performance. Because it's done live, in the store, there are conversations and ambient store sounds in the background.

The amp is a Fishman Loudbox Mini, with the master gain set at half. The tone settings were bass at half, 3/4 for the mids and highs. Reverb was at about 15%, chorus was off. Guitar on-board volume control was at about half.

All was done in one take, no editing. Even though Ms. Jackson plays almost exclusively on nylon strings, she played the Loar archtop as if it were her primary instrument. This is about as good as it gets.

Visit www.BackstageMusic.Com, or call us at 662-323-3824. We're open 10-6, Central Time, Monday-Saturday.
