Typhoon Mirinae/Santi strikes the Philippines!

On the morning of October 31, 2009, typhoon Mirinae/Santi slammed into Manila, Philippines. Extreme storm chasers James Reynolds of TyphoonFury.com and Jim Edds from ExtremeStorms.com were in perfect position to document the storm surge and flooding near Laguna de Bay.

I happen to live in the Philippines, and yes, evacuating the 1st flr of our home is routine for us, if troublesome (Try lifting a 40inch standard def TV at the insistence of your mother up 2 flights of stairs).

At the time of this post, water's gone from 1st flr, but damage is still there, and we're back to the usual "sweep mud out" routine.

thy'lll use the bamboo's and woods thy can fine for fire. i used to do this he i was young. unlike now im living in Manchester UK. heheh
