I post a comment for two reasons. One, the Mayans were very intelligent for their time and almost as mathematically advanced as us. They even recorded the constellations and figured out at what times of which year a constellation will be visible. But, the main reason I'm posting is because if your translate 2012 into hexadecimal, that number is 7D9, taking the first number, 7 of 7D9 and translating it in the same postion into decimal (17*16^2) is 1792.

think about it... how many things have they really been wrong about? they new the exact amount of days in a year.. now explain to me that how could they get so close to being perfectly right with 1/1000000000000000000000000000 000000000000000000000000 percent of our technology? that would make them insanely intelligent..now im not saying were gonna die on 12/21/12 im just saying that they havent been wrong prior to this.. just something to think about.
