This shows a Hitec 422 modified to be used as an input device. You can see the unmodified servo following the input servos position. More info. http://www.lynxmotion.net/viewtopic.php?t=4362

  • What modifications did you do to the servo ?

  • The internal PC board is removed. The servo wire is attached to the internal pot. The motor wires can be shorted together for more position holding power. The forum is a better place to discuss this.

  • I did something similar to a servo, but instead of removing the internal PCB i just soldered a wire to the pot and read the value (Of course it won't work if you read the value while pulsing to the servo).

It gives OK readings like that, it doesn't work on all servo's but it works on the ones i tried so far.

  • thanks you

  • You should make a robot hand that mimics your own hand with a glove :) that woould be awesome :D

  • wow, is fantastic, can you show us how can we do that?
