  • how do you attach the objects to each other?

  • @idontwannakillu The flag and the ropes? I used an alpha map to make the holes in the flag (the holes aren't really there), I pinned the left corners of the flag and just lined up the ropes with the holes in the flag. They aren't actually connected.

  • FUCK USAAAAAAA

  • yeah much better than mine :)

  • Awesome

    just the lighting

    but everything is awesome

  • That is awesome. You took that tutorial and just took it to the next level, didn't ya?

  • @Celebavari Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. I found the flag image on google and then created an alpha mask in gimp for the holes. I just ripped apart the mesh for the tears at the top so the pieces would act independently of each other.

  • Nice rips and tears in the flag how did you achieve the frayed edges? Or did you set the flag plane to be completely transparent and used the alpha of the texture?

Like this a lot, good work, Mike.
