How did the car run a red light when there is a bunch of other cars going the same way?

it's a round about.... it's hard to tell cause the road is curved, but the car that hit him actually came from a different direction than the rest of them.

Nonetheless, if there are cars with a green light crossing the crosswalk, he shouldn't be in it. The other car was probably going around the rotary lane that you can proceed on with a red.

i can understand that this shot is misleading. the other cars that were passing by had already passed through their light; however, traffic was backed up in the round about, so they were waiting to proceed forward, and HAPPENED to start moving again in this shot.
