my artist friend makes full masks, animal shapes etc. for plays using paper mache. His method involves glue. Not seen him do it but he molds to face. Did a kids class on weekend and they made them too. I'm sure there are places online to look for making paper mache masks. The glue and varnish protects it and smooths it out and can be cut to shape too.

@ErisofScorpio you should probably buy it in a hobby store or else it will look really ugly.

would micheals have a mask like that???

What are you wearing to accent it? What color necklace, bracelet, ect. Going off that is what to do. Like say I'm wearing a white dress and my necklace has simple pastel beads on it. If they're soft pink go with that, blue to blue. Did that make sense?

ermm i'm a girl, and i definitely agree about the comment below. is that messed up?? Anywayss, that's so COOL!! But to bad i'm not artistic enough to decorate the mask all pretty. how do i choose a color if my dress is white?

I'm not looking for "How to design a mask" but how to make the 'mask' itself. You know, the gold thing you are holding...
