@albieonthefly o ok thanks. the water is so nice

Hello, I believe that was a clouser. I seem to do Ok with them.
-
The I played that bass in less than 2ft, but there are deep channels on both sides of the inlet and of course the shallow areas where you can get out and wade if you know your tides.

@Jturtle316 how deep is it there? because its rediculously clear. im from nassau county and im used to fishing in the sludge in reynolds channel

@albieonthefly what fly were u using
-
For the blues I was using a needle-eel but they would have taken anything. We were just coming out of the inlet and drifted to the east channel yes. I think I know that spot you are talking about. I could see fluke come after my fly in every other cast.
Good luck this season!
i fish in the shinnecock area for fluke, flounder, blues, and stripers good vid very cool what did you use for the bluefish and the striper

@rkoorton1234 If I remember correctly anything that you threw at the blues would work. Birds were working and blues were on top. I used a needle eel lure, but a diamond jig or cast master would have worked. The bass, that was in very shallow water and I was using small flies. I think an all white clouser. Shinnecock is awesome!

@rkoorton1234 It was right north of the middle inlet. The background is to the west. Ponquogue bridge and the commercial fleet.
