Hi, I have a question. Can you start with bass trombone, or ist it to hard?
Or is it better to start with tenor. Greets from belgium!
-
i might play contra bass for jazz band or regular bass
-
Btw for 6 people like dislike this...he plays in the Met now.

BASS TROMBONE FOREVER!

@twoerner11 Change your emboucher. Like how your mouth/jaw/airflow is and all that.
-
@stephenito13 The Das Rheingold opera by Wagner. The except he's playing is from scene 2 called "Spear Motive"
-
He isn't a bad teacher. You don't get anything out of a lesson where you don't find out what you are doing wrong. If all you heard was what you are doing right, you'd make no headway.

who knows the name & composer of the first song hes playing???

@BinaryCoders Reality check: When you are paying a professional musician who is better than you to teach you how to play better, you should expect him to be "anal" about the tiniest detail. Go ahead, pay someone $50-100 a lesson and tell them "Be casual, don;t be strict, and for heaven's sake, don;t be anal about the details. After all, it's just music, dude!!" No wonder this world is full of slackers and hack musicians. If you can't play music with the big dogs, stay on the porch!
