After I noticed a pretty suspicious lack of Light Phaser videos, I decided to put some up before retiring from the SMS (temporarily). Safari Hunt was a built-in game with some of the Sega Master Systems shipped (Ex: Those with a System BIOS of Ver.2.4) and was Sega's answer to Duck Hunt (but with admiteddly more variety). It was also released later in a 2-for-1 cartridge that contained Hang On & Safari Hunt. It consists of three levels with a number of animals/creatures to shoot and gets progressively harder, requiring you to need more points to advance. The game actually has an end too, but it's nothing to get excited about, trust me. This is a sample recorded off of Sega hardware (Power Base Converter on a CDX system). Enjoy.
I distinctively remember in the second stage, once in a while an apple would fall. Did anything happen if you shot it? What was it's significance?
