You have a GREAT sound although I think that its just a LITTLE too rubato. A few other things you might want to consider:
You could always use dynamics to shape your phrases. Also, on words like "arms" try to sustain more on the "ah" part instead of the "m" (think aaahrms). One last thing is the microphone. I know you said you got a new one but have you thought of investing in an SM57 or 58? I usually record on a 57 and I hope to get some stuff up soon but overall, VERY good!
