TheHaywire's Saby Reyes-Kulkarni interviews Sepultura guitarist Andreas Kisser before the band's show at the Montage in Rochester, NY May 21, 2011. Part 5 of 6.

Kisser discusses what it was like seeing Max and Igor in person at festival shows in 2010, how he and Derrick went to see Soulfly live, the "no reunion" statement the band issued, Max's allegations that Kisser's wife attempted to bury Dana Wells without Gloria Cavalera's consent, Jean Dolabella's style, and performing deep cuts. Choice quote: "We were like a gang together -- no managers, no crew, no wives, no kids, no nothing."

Being from their hometown, Belo Horizonte, Ive always wanted to ask them why they said there were no other bands here, other than Ratos de Porão, in that classic 1st interview they gave abroad?It´s like spitting on the dish youve eaten from for so many years!The local bands had to find their way out themselves as Sepultura clearly tried to close the door behind them but didnt open it themselves either.Lots of these other bands held the door open so they could go through! it´s all about egos man!

@htbrdr this is brazil to man - murder capital of the world - maybe their was reasons he had to be buried - how long does it take to fly from the UK to Brazil - 1 day at most - so the funeral couldnt be that rushed - seems theres a lot of exaggeration with the stories

i don't see any reason for sep to reunite. max quit the band and went on to different (and better considdering the direction sep went) things. get over it people. must feel weird for igor if he really doesn't like metal that much
