WARNING: THE SWORD SEEN IN THIS VIDEO IS A REAL WEAPON. WHILE IT IS A REPLICA, IT CAN STILL BE USED AS A WEAPON. CHILDREN, PLEASE DO NOT BUY OR USE ANY SWORD WITHOUT A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN'S CONSENT. FURTHERMORE, IF YOU ARE UNDER 18, YOU SHOULD CHECK WITH YOUR LOCAL LAWS BEFORE BUYING ANY SWORD. THANK YOU, AND ENJOY THE VIDEO.

This is my replica of a Klingon Bat'leth sword, as seen in in Star Trek Enterprise (twice), Star Trek The Next Generation (four times), Star Trek Deep Space Nine (fourteen times), Star Trek Voyager (eight times) and once in Star Trek Generations.

The sword, which is made of stainless steel has three handles, all of which are wrapped in a cloth for padding, then wrapped in black leather for the grips. The sword has four tips. The iner tips are rounded, while the outter tips are pointed.

The Bat'leth was originally designed by martial arts expert Dan Curry, who also helped develop the intricate moves performed in its use. The Bat'leth has obtained a following by many groups, such as Trekkies, sword collectors, martial arts enthusiasts, and ect.

  • Great video, the bat'leth looks awesome! Would you happen to have a link to the ebay seller you bought it from?

  • I can try to find it, my mom actually bought it for me, as I'm under 18 so I couldnt buy a weapon, let alone buy anything off of eBay.

  • hey dude yours looks like it was shappend did you do that?

  • You can either use a knive or a sharpening bar (think I have the right name).

  • Lol going to procure one at some stage and just sharpen it till the Zombie Apocalypse.

  • isnt the star trek one more curved then this ? it could be the angle of the camera but i dont think it is.

I just am looking at it and going awesome but the dimensions are a little off.

  • how much does it weigh? points up like a horseshoe when you hang it.

  • how much does it weigh?

  • Different look though..

  • twiggystreasure(Dot)com is where you can buy this and alot more!

  • Thats Nice! Qapla!

  • @atheywa ....My Bat'leth design is the best in the world.

My design is far better than even the TV prop.

I took the TV design and changed it to become a real weapon of battle, not of pretend.

And so Atheywa, I totally reject your criticism and turn and ask you to post the proof you can make a better Bat'leth?

  • @AlanMolstad You make poorly formed rip-offs, you destroy the natural beauty of the steel by deforming it with high-carbon flame, and you DRAGGED A LARGE HUNK OF SHARPENED STEEL BEHIND YOU TRUCK AT 60MPH!!! My boy, you might be legally retarded!!

  • there are nice Bat'leths out there...

But so far mine is still the best in the world

    ...

Just Google "DaQo'tah bat'leth" and judge for yourself...
