C5 Z06 messing around with exotics

This guy claim that his C5 Z06 have been equipped with only longtube headers w/o cats,Borla Stingers and K&N Air filter....don't know if I believe him.

I'm not surprised. I've driven a number of the cars in the video and they are quick and driving dynamics are much more refined than the Z06. BUT the Z06 is FAST! My father just installed american racing long tube headers and a haltek stinger intake and after the tune got 403 HP at the wheels on his C5 Z06. I can run down most anything exotic at Lime Rock. If you want a great track car for a great price get a Z06. If you want exotic looks and exclusivity, by a Ferrari or Lambo.

I'm pretty sure he does NOT have more than just headers, Intake, & mufflers! People underestimate the vette, why?? because its not 6+ figures?!?! go look & compare 1/4 mile, 0-60 mph, etc! it takes little or nothing to hang, or beat these cars, also on the twisties! Educate yourself people!

thats the best and usually first upgrades for corvette owners, intake, full exhaust and tune and your easily add 50 to 70 plus rear wheel hp. why? cuz those 3 things are the weakest link. from there its cam, heads, supercharger etc. then your in the 500-600 hp range. people under estimate the c5-c6 vettes cuz there so common and most are not fixed up to drag, but its the best bang for the buck hands down!

If you're Z06 is stock, it's not going to destroy these cars when a Z06 with LT's, no cats and a K&N filter barely beat them. You're down at least 40 rwhp to this Z06, if not more. Unless you accidentally typed in C5 Z06 and you meant C6 Z06...Then disregard my comment. I race my modded C6 at race tracks and 1/4 mile strips every weekend when it's nice out. This guy is a great driver, he hit the rev limiter once, & as you know, that's easy to do in a Z06.

Lol, this Corvette is weak as shit and it's beating all these exotics.. The driver can't drive either. My STOCK C5 Z06 could destroy all of these exotics, it's actually a healthy motor with less than 25k miles. But honestly, I'm not surprised either, the C5Z is a very light car and has a great motor and is very aerodynamic.
