4th World Naginata Championship -3rd Position Match Men-

Hello everyone,
This is the women match for the 3rd place of the 4th Naginata Championship held in Brussel on September 1st 2007.

^^ they are holding Naginata (it is in the title), it is a kind of spear, but it is a "little" blade instead (like a long knife)

Google it up.

On competition and when practicing Naginata-do, the blade is made of bamboo, so it is kinda flexible... the shaft in in wood.

Nicely done, Mr. Bennett! I like to watch kendo players who do naginata because they tend to put a little moore "oomph" into their strikes which I find aesthetically pleasing and physically convincing for judging ippon.

There is also heavy infantry 2h sword, Nodachi I think it's called. I wonder if there is any sport about it, like nodachi-do :-)

Naginata Medieval infantry weapon. This is rather light one, the real naginata is described as quite heavy weapon that can cut horse legs on ride.
