There was a shooting in Seattle's Central District not far from where I live. This is the latest news update that I have found,

"Rey Alberto Davis-Bell, 23, is accused of shooting to death Degene Berecha Deshasa, 31, an Ethiopian immigrant who owned the restaurant Philadelphia Cheese Steak at 23rd Avenue and East Union Street."

The article goes on to state, "An owner of the same restaurant was shot to death a few blocks away in 2003; the case remains unsolved."

  • What?! Are we in the 1970s?! What skin color has to do with people's background or behavior? and what census data of who lives there has to do with who hangs out at the corner?! And I never said black, you did. so I don't know what color of the skin has to do with it.

  • Bullshit dude, go to 23rd and Union in the CD or anywhere around there and say that's not a Black neighborhood. "Attracts African-American addicts from all over town?" You sound like a racist.

  • i rember tht shooting i saw it 2 it sared the fuk out of me

  • Central district in seattle statistically is not a black neighborhood. However, this intersection attracts African-American addicts from all over town dew to a bar called Thompson's that is right there.

Also, the guy in the video is not correct. This is not gang related, the suspect was a mentally ill addict that frequented this corner. Restaurant owner is a black immigrant, the attacker is an american born African-american. These 2 communities have nothing in common.

  • They have black neighnborhoods but nothin like St lous crime its a pity seattle even has gang related shootings i guess gangs are everywere these days

  • philly's best is closed damnnn. Ay Honkey sauce Check it out ol boy was trippen and dumped on his girl and cut out fromthe west seattle apt went to get a sub and rip man got into it with him at the register and dumped on him , What in your world or the seattle times or whatever makes this gang related? people trip? rip to dude
