My Russian Izhmash Dragunov Tigr with full SVD length 620mm barrel as obtainable from the factory and available here in New Zealand.

Clarification on scope model name. The correct name is "POSP 8x42D" rather than "PSO". I purchased the scope under the PSO label and assumed it was correct.

@mgvr6 mostly just used for plinking, but have used it successfully to hunt pigs.

great rifle, I don't know how you found a tiger with the gas regulator and long barrel already installed, you basically got a Russian SVD there.

@rollthelosingdice There's no 2-way adjustable gas tube on this tiger, although they can be optioned on from the factory when suppliers purchase them. I've seen Legion tigrs sold here with them.

@Nicroman5000 Wrong. This is a self loading Dragunov rifle. All Tigr and SVD rifles come under the Dragunov label. Same production line, minor differences all of which can be swapped on/off except the barrel. Even then, as with this Dragunov's barrel, these rifles can be made by the factory in nearly any configuration.

You beautiful rifle is the Снайперская винтовка Драгунова Тигр or in English the

Snayperskaya Vintovka Dragunova (SVD) Tigr (pronounced as Teegr). It was designed by

Yevgeny Fyodorovich Dragunov ( Евге́ний Фёдорович Драгуно́в) as a snipers rifle in 1958.

@mgvr6 Yes we have deer, but they were introduced long ago like most animals here. They are commonly hunted in the South Island and lower North Island.
