Have you ever heard of or studied Fut Gas?
Sort of a mainstay of San Soo, especially in the old days.
Fut Gas are ATTACK techniques. Basically how to MAIM and/or KILL an opponent who isn't even attacking (as you lamented above.)
Some of you young dudes are totally wussified, a fact that I'm forced to accept, much to my chagrin.
I guess we just have different (yes there is an e-r after the second f in different) opinions on how san soo should be used/taught.

Martial actually ALSO refers to war... look it up.
Besides the purpose of the military (which you correctly state that "martial" also refers to) is to KILL PEOPLE AND BREAK THINGS...

Unless you are European and British in particular... Defense is commonly spelled with an S instead of a C in the USA. But technically you did not spell it wrong. But when a football team is on defense, it is not spelled with a C.

Martial Arts... martial refers to war... war tends to involve killing... So I agree... "WE" practice martial arts... at least San Soo people do...
The cat sat on "defence"... humans can practice "defense."

Lol, two things. 1: Who on earth would carry a poisoned ice pick with them? Try getting that through an airport lol "I use it to pick stuff out of my teeth officer". And 2: Why not just carry a gun? Now don't get me wrong, I love san soo. But it just doesn't seem very practical to carry around a poisoned ice pick.
