That explains things. I timed my last session on Saturday and Sunday and had a best time of 2:32. Needless to say I was more than pleasantly surprised to see your video as you have managed to capture for posterity my VIR personal best. The video freezes at the "bad" pass. What happens after that? Any chance I can get a copy of the original? Is it okay to post your video on my Facebook page?

I think that's me in the Grey Boxster-S ahead of you. What was wrong with your pass? Was it a little early? I did give the point by a little early.

I uploaded it again - I didn't realize it froze. I was having some codec issues with the .avi format of my Smarty Cam - You can definitely put it on your Facebook. I did! I reposted the video under a new link.

That was from first session on Sunday. The lap times were correct - between 2:26 and 2:28.

Yes, I took the pass to early on the lower S' (not our passing zone). Dangerous since it is so narrow. Plus, I was reprimanded by my hubby when he saw the pass on video. So....a bit of editing before posting.

@kataplana I think you were in the Blue group like I am, and I am pretty sure it was a valid zone to take a pass before climbing esses. Snake or whatever they call it.
By they way, checkout my long VIR video in my channel, I believe it is you ahead of me starting from 18:44 time mark.

@alisalih I took the pass too early or at least in a bad spot. I uploaded the rest of the video, however, where it doesn't freeze at the pass. I saw your video too and I think that is me as well in front of the car in front of your car. Fun track. Heading to the Glen on Thursday!
