Para mi es un honor participar en esta felicitación a Nelson Mandela por su 90 cumpleaños. En nombre mío y en nombre del deporte español. Porque pienso que Nelson Mandela simboliza los valores del deporte. Es una persona que ha trabajado y ha luchado de manera infatigable con autoexigencia y que ha sabido superar las dificultades con un objetivo, hacer una sociedad más justa, hacer una sociedad más igual y por ello mi felicitación y mi deseo que los ciudadanos del mundo se unan a esta campaña de felicitación de esta maginfica persona, de esta gran persona que es ya un referente mundial y que el y su obra perdurarán con seguridad en el tiempo.

For me it´s a great honour to participate in this birthday wishes campaign for Nelson Mandela´s 90th birthday. Personally and in representation of Spanish sport, because I think that Nelson symbolises the values of sport. He is a person that has worked and fought without rest and with self commitment and has known how to overcome difficulties with one objective in mind, to make our society more fair and equal. For this reason I wish him and hope that all citizens of the world join together to send their message to this wonderful person who is a worldwide reference and whose work will surely remain alive for ever.
