Very Informative. Too bad we invent jobs for people. $23 billion was spent on Psychiatry in 2005. The psyche drugs only mass the problem.

****EASY THERE!****I am just a regular person with my own opinion.
I agree that it is in part the physcians responsibility to inform their patients if a medication would have interactions with ANYTHING else. That is why I said more education is needed.
But it is also the vitamin/supplement companies responsibility to inform consumers if taking their product would be a risk to their health.
Not everyone who takes v/s are so obviously informed as you

The problem is that some people are on prescription meds that would counteract with some vitamins..What is really needed is more education and knowledge of how some vitamins and herbal supplements can metabolize with prescription meds.
Take a daily vitamin, eat healthy and call it good.

Then perhaps it is the physicians' obligation to inform their patients of so-called interactions with the meds they are prescribing. If you are not on any medications as I am not, you should not have to go see a doctor to ask for vitamins or supplements. This is another scheme to rake in on the billions of dollars being spent on natural medicine.
