Neil Young DID perform with CSN at Woodstock, but he refused to allow his face or name to be used in the filming.

Keep in mind young grasshoppers that this was the FIRST time CSN played in public . . . Yup, a late act compiled to play at Woodstock after John Sebastian (Lovin' Spoonful- "Summer in the City") decided not to join the band.
