I was coming home from Thanksgiving break when Border Patrol came onto the train and asked everyone what their immigration status was. Officer B. Snyder spoke with this couple for a moment, then took them away.

This occurred on Saturday, November 27th at around 10am. We were in Buffalo, NY and didn't cross any national borders.

Please call your congress person. We should demand that they stop allowing Border Patrol onto buses and trains traveling within U.S. borders. We should be able to visit our families without being profiled by police.

  • @MrBrown1302 lmao I use to stay at Douglas Az with my dad for 3 yrs. He has 2 business, one in Mexico and the other in Douglas Az. Douglas is located minutes away from the border and I use to travel in and out of Mexico 7 days a week, for those 3 years I was always ASK for my citizenship, numerious times, got pulled over to be expected for drugs, and numerious times I was questioned by officers at stores. Even with all that I still wasn't bothered, few dumb questions by them isn't gonna kill me.

  • @Pebric *prove.... It only affects you when you are a non-white... being a US citizen doesn't save you from being bothered when you are attempting to travel in the country you, your parents, your grandparents, and your great grandparents were born in. Cartels are in the drug business. If there were no cartels drgs would still exist, and be bought and sold for people to use. FYI the USA is the biggest buyer of illegal drugs so who has the real problem?

  • @Pebric lol u make it sound as if none of those problems exist here in the US. Patrol Officers asking for passports won't bother you until YOU are the one being asked over and over to proove you are a citizen just because of your skin color. I personally know some caucasians who are here illegally from New Zealand and Canada who have actually been stopped for traffic violations and NEVER questioned about their immigration status even though their Visa had expired. Its racial profiling.

  • This is sad, and for those who hate "illegals" many people are detained when they have papers to. The usual reponse is well if they have papers what are they crying about. Answer: They went through a traumatizing ordeal, detained for HOURS, and were treated like dogs. I should let them take me in,and give them heck, for detaining yet another US Citizen! Drive the point home! God bless everyone! :)

  • @Ellisonm99 People would listen to you more if you were not so racist

  • Poor guys :(. We should welcome these immigrants into our country then we wouldn't have to waste money on the border patrol and these immigrants can have a chance here instead of rotting in Mexico!

  • @0626jay You perfer scumbags like cartels who bring violence, produce drugs and murder (even towards the innocent) over Patrol Officers asking for your passport? Your seriously a dumbass wetback.

  • Clearly you are highly uneducated. Unable to spell, and out of touch with reality.

  • @Ellisonm99 No need for racism sir.

  • Could be a tough sell. Boarder patrol agents often set up check points within US borders. If you've ever traveled in southern New Mexico or Arizona you may have run across checkpoints run by the Boarder Patrol - well within US boarders. The obvious question is: Why shouldn't the Boarder Patrol check the status of people in the US?
