Award-winning El Polifemo plays Lotus Eaters (Andrew York)

Germany's best guitar ensemble "El Polifemo" (Conductor: Johannes Stickroth) interprets "Lotus Eaters" by guitarist, composer and former LAGQ member Andrew York. In May 2008 the guitarists from Friedberg and Augsburg in Bavaria, Germany won the "Deutscher Orchesterwettbewerb" (German Orchestra Competition) with the best possible rating.
Members playing: Daniela Bolleininger, Sebastian Cihlars, Manuel Förg, Richard Gebhard, Lukas Hauser, Amelie Horn, Jessica Kaiser, Benedikt Kauf, Charlotte Mergenthaler, Isabella Selder, Jakob Schmidt, Stefan Schmidt, Johannes Stickroth
The concert took place in Zwölf-Apostel Hall, Augsburg.

Absolutely delightful, which is not very often can be said of these type of guitar ensembles, it is a very well deserved first place. Congratulations for all and the teacher especially.
