  • I have loads of photos of these magnificent birds, We saw a flock of twenty or so flying in full view so That is when I got a lot of photos!

  • Absolutely magnificent bird, also happens to be my "Spirit Guide Bird"he shows up when I am down & feeling alone<3

  • HEAVENLY!!!

so amazing to see these wonderful creatures in the wild on their own...this is how these birds should be left to live.

  • They have two other close relatives; the white tailed and red tailed black cockatoo. All have a powerful beak that serves a vital purpose in the Australian bush; some nuts are only broken open by two things- fire and black cockatoos. It's common to see them flying around Perth, Western Australia, especially if there's pine trees or large trees with woody nuts. There is a pet store that sells them for A$2500 apiece. Incredible talkers and mimics
