Also yes, Lyle did turn out to be a nice guy since Reuben was preventing Ernest from escaping and he was probably going to kill Ernest where Lyle knocked Reuben out then. After that Lyle was nice to tell Ernest to quickly escape and let him know that Nash was robbing the bank.

Or maybe Nash was going to blow her up because she was telling Mr. Pendlesmythe that he was robbing the bank. It's unknown why Lyle was in jail but, I'm sure he wasn't a henchman of Nash since he was quiet the whole time where Nash might have made Lyle do things he wasn't interested in. Probably Reuben is the only henchman of Nash where Nash and Reuben were arrested for robbing a bank but, Lyle might have been arrested for a different reason and he just met Nash and Reuben in jail.

I think the reason he was going to blow her up was because she refused to sleep with him. I know this is off of the subject of Nash and Charlotte but it makes me wonder what Lyle was in jail for although the movie doesn't tell us why he's doing time. Lyle turns out to be a nice guy.

That's true. I remember him saying those things to her and that he wanted her to kiss him on the cheek. Plus, as he was about to get arrested again by the cops at the end, he said "she's my ticket out of here, come over here sweetheart." However, he probably really hates her since he also tried to kill her at the end by blowing her up along with Chuck.

In some scenes, look closely at how Nash looks at Charlotte. You can tell that he wants her. Look at his mannerisms when he's around her and especially pay attention to the scene at Ernest's place. I also forgot to add that as she was telling him she didn't come over to have a drink, he was looking down her dress most likely wanting to rip it off of her.

he turned so she kissed him on the lips. The very last one was obvious when he rearranged Ernest's home. Nash had romantic music playing and 2 glasses of alcohol. He pinned her down so he could get what he wanted which was a little nookie. Notice he was trying to kiss her but she fought him off with Rimshot as a distraction, she managed to get him off of her. If he was going to kill her, he would have done so instead of taking her hostage at the end.

Yeah. He didn't have to say flat out that he wanted to sleep with her. There were some subtle hints in the movie that he wanted her. Remember earlier when he said "I had a nice time too, Baby" and was starting to put his arms around her?  That is one and he kept wanting her to kiss him on the cheek and the second time he said "Has your value of pride diminished?" "Well last time you were proud of me I got a kiss." Then he stuck out his cheek and instead of her kissing his cheek,

Are you sure? I don't remember him saying that he wanted to sleep with her. All I remember was that Charlotte told Nash that she wanted to talk to him about what happened at the bank where Nash pinned her down on the couch and said "we can talk later" looking like he was either trying to kill her or make love to her.

Actually, he was trying to get her to sleep with him.
