I believe the laser was a quantum. AMA is unique as they have worked with the companies and developed protocols that allow them to work on the entire spectrum of skin colors. Without seeing you it is hard to say but you should be able to find a clinic that can work on your skin.

I had eight laser treatments on my face to supposely remove a brown spot on my face, and everything was a waste of time and MONEY! My face looks worse now, and I really REGRET having done this procedure on me. Watch out people! It's easy to get motivated through false advertisement videos like this. Laser isn't the perfect cure. I don't know why "dermatologists" lie so professionaly. Reality is exactly the opposite. They only want our money easily! If anyone wants to contact me, please do so.
