On my way home from Borough Market.
First of all I'm stuck sat behind a cabbie and a taxi, who've chosen to stop alongside each other taking all the space from the kerb to the barrier in the centre of the road.
When I reach the lights at the end of Southwark Street however, it seems that I'm the only one who can make progress. Why? Because one of the lanes has been closed for some reason and the lights, although green for straight-on are still red for those wanting to turn right and that's where the van driver at the head of the queue wants to go. Oh dear.
That stretch from the bridge to the lights is always an absolute pain, not to mention some of the potholes round there.

I can only imagine. Not a journey I'd care to do too often, especially given the roadworks up ahead. Watch out for those potholes, although I'd guess you've memorised the exact position of each one!

A bit of a tie-up at the beginning, but you got through. ; > P

Yeah, that was a little disappointing but I could see the funny side with it being a cabbie and a taxi and all. A bit of patience was all it took to find a way. :)

@kmcyc I saw on BBC UK London, about [ 'TfL 'sorry' after second Bow Roundabout cyclist death' ] were you able to see the bit on the bbc? In the video I saw there was a cammer at the :33 second spot. Do/did you recognise the cyclist, the one with the camera, that is? The Bow roundabout is underneath the Bow Flyover, correct?

OMG, how sad. Yes, this RAB is below the Bow Flyover that you've seen in many of my videos. No, I did not recognise the camera cyclist. I've often thought "why?" when looking at CS2 as it goes under the flyover. That's an awful RAB - very small for 2 lanes and very very busy. Only rarely have I used it, on very windy days and only once going east. Westbound, CS2 starts directly after the RAB.
