Awww, poor Sam, it's too bad he probably wasn't the best father and husband with his uptight attitude toward everything. Frank Oz and Jim Henson portray this perfectly. Just the awkwardness of the conservation and maybe a little grief.
I'm surprised I have not found a fanfiction on his relationship to his family. I would love to see that someday.

I wonder if this was ad-libbed? It doesn't sound scripted to me. It feels like something Frank and Jim would do at a live appearance.

@sasodcfred if have a facebook can you type in The Muppet Show petition and like it were going 5,000 likes to bring back the muppet show. it would be great for the kids of this generation if you know anyone else who like The Muppets please tell them about it

why am i watching this? It's weird how stuff happens on youtube one second i'm watching lizzie mcguire, the next I'm watching videos of people trying to sing, then I was watching random things that look alike and now I'm watching the muppets.

Aw, poor Sam! His wife left him and his kids don't appreciate him! I would marry him! And be close to him, and never hurt him, just as his wife had done. I think Sam makes a wonderful husband, and a great father.
