The episode was titled Lisa's Song and came from season 3. The song is called "Shadows and Light". It's a great song from a great episode. I'm not sure they will ever release the rest of the seasons on DVD. I'm waiting for Seasons 4 & 5 as they are my favourites.

I love Fame and have over 24 hours of it that I taped from TV. In the UK we didn't get to see the later series, which I was gutted about.

The BBC did not show seasons 5 & 6 but they were shown in the U.K. on a satelite TV station called the Childrens Channel in the mid 90s, I don't think the channel is still going. However, they did not show the episodes of season 6 that dealt with Nicole dying and a friend of Danny's revealling he was gay.

I too loved the 4th and 5th series, Nia Peeples (Nicole) was my favourite. I hope they come out on DVD.

I was about 14 watching this show and then 2 years later i was blasting Control lol!

@Jshaw71 I did not see any post about HSM any where, if you were talking to me I was talking about the second season of Fame coming out on dvd. sorry for any confussion, I am a child of the 80s and know that there is nocomparaison to Fame.

Nia did a good job...there was the Cynthia Gibb years i think....

other than Danny and Leroy from what i see that looks like FAME, the new class.
