Its all about the gold. I have to laugh at how utterly stupid and pompous certain people are when it comes down to how they measure achievement. It seems Marvin was more about the awards he won than the songs he wrote according to how he is remembered by his fans. What does that say about his fans? GOLD DIGGERS!

MARVIN HAMLISCH! Marvin was a great musical genius who gave the world a great amount of joy! His musical compositions and scores are legendary. A Chorus Line was a fantastic show, "The Sting" was incredibly memorable and the song "The Way We Were" was very tender and lovely. Perhaps most of all Marvin was known by all who knew him to be a kind soul and a good human being.
