wow 9 freebies! that's amazing, and don't think about the math of the purchases :P can you explian what you mean about 'marking the b2m' stuff so you can't recycle them again? i cant believe that...

sonjiya: Sometimes, depending on the store or counter, an MA will mark a line on the bottom label of a product or chip out a piece of the exterior packaging so that you can't use it for the B2MAC program. I don't know why they do this as it hasn't happened to me so I can't give you much more than that.

do you still have to have the metal pan in the eyeshadow to "back to mac"? that's what i heard, and wanted to know what the deal was?

and encore said that u can back to mac the pro pan refills.. soooo?!?! not sure about that as well

0ocato0: As far as I know the pan thing depends on your store or counter. MAC does not specify on their site that the pans are required and as far as I'm concerned any counter or store that tells you they are is wrong. I keep hearing different things from different MAs, which has always been MAC's biggest problem - no one has the same story.

The Pro store I went to said the pans had to be in the eyeshadow shell for back to mac. I was highly upset about that because I think that's ridiculous. If you have the outer shell, that should be enough IMO but I don't make the rules... I also called the customer service number and they said that they are not supposed to accept depotted containers because MAC doesn't support depotting.

brwnbarbie24: The people at your Pro Store are stupid. *lol* Whether or not "MAC doesn't support" depotting is irrelevant. I would think that if recycling is so important to the company that they would accept empties in any form.

This again goes back to my comment on how no two people who work for MAC can give the same answer to the same question. *lol*
