Actually they did! They destroyed 60 of the original 85 temples! :(

I visited this place before. It is so good that I couldn't leave that place. I might go there next summer

Second Stanza:
I felt these emotions, when I glanced at her;
She is like the morning's beauty
She is like the winter's sunshine
She is like the strain of the lute
She is like the brilliance of colour
She is like the drooping willows
She is like the dance of the waves
She is the cool breeze heavy with floral scent

First Stanza:
I felt these emotions, when I first saw her;
She is like a rose in bloom
She is like the dream of a poet
She is like the birth of dawn
She is like a doe in the woods
She is like the moonlit night
She is like a softly whispered phrase
She is the lamp offered in the temple

Here is a loose translation. The lyrics are deep into metaphors that are Indian in sensibility and don't always lend to a direct translation into English. Nevertheless, hope this helps:

I remember visiting this awesome place in 1992-93. The lighting and neatly maintained surroundings were not there at that time. Thats a great improvement and I would like to visit this place again and enjoy them. Also the pilgrimage to Shiridi is some 3-4 hours from this place. Would certainly make a good family place. And I forgot to say these caves are UNESCO World Heritage Sites list!

Thank you

He's singing Oh when I saw this girl she seemed to me like a...and mentions all kinds of beautiful things- a rose, a poets dream, a deer,the moon, a softly spoken word, a single candle lit in a temple

Well...it's just beautiful. I really love Indian music, India, and Indian people. Even though I don't understand a word of it I can feel the intent and emotion. Thanks for explaining the meaning.
