I personally love the Jurassic Park films because of its little use CGI, it actually had robotic creatures coming "alive", way much better than the CGI which is easily told as being fake.

actually all animatronic raptors in all JP films can be full sized but they can have insert feet and heads in the shots.
e.g. Raptors in the kitchen: when lex and tim look under the table the see the clicking feet of velociraptors. they were insert feet.

CGI can look incredible. but no matter how expensive it is, it doesn't really look real.
