Mana Blitz is a team-based custom game currently implemented in WarCraft III. Includes lots of custom AI for independent AI units and teams, AI teammates that follow the player's lead like in Gears of War, and diplomacy (forming/breaking alliances by AI teams). The basic premise is that a number of independent teams are competing to fill their mana tank in their home base by sending out Harvester units to gather mana at various nodes out in the field, which are carefully placed to cause conflict between teams. Harvester units may bring the mana back to get their team closer to winning, or may decide to use it for spells the Harvesters have to try to win a battle or avoid one altogether. Human players may choose to control all of their units or may choose to only control one in which case AI takes over for the other units, having them take the lead of the player-controlled unit most of the time.
This was used as part of a presentation, and unfortunately the audio of the speech hasn't been put into the video. Text in the video still explains a few things.
