I'm very new to paintball as I've only had an 8 hour day so far but am already hooked.

I have a question though, In a few of the vids I've seen I see guys wiping the paint off their hopper and keep playing. is that legit or a no no? where I played if your hopper or gun got hit, you were out. I'm sure there's different rules but wanted to check with you all. whats the deal?

@jpalmi in recreational places they have there own rules  mine dont count gun shots but the other ones i go to do, but in tournys its absoultly ilegal and if you caught doing that its usualy a 1 for one or your out and another player on you team

@jpalmi Are you into tournament paintball, woods, or just rec? Also its illegal everywhere man. And honestly I dont suggest you do it, cuz I had a kid on my team that did it a lot and thought he was just all that and we ended up sort of in a stand off and i would have beatin him but he wiped the 4 times I hit him
