These row houses have been designed to reflect the look of the wonderful old row houses in the National Historic District of Savannah. They were 2 ½ years in design & construction. Each row house features a courtyard and a rentable finished carriage house apt. over a detached 2-car garage w/a lane entrance for a total of 3,200 square feet. There are 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, and a powder room. The homes feature iron exterior railing, balconies with french doors, bay windows on the front and back of the house, three fireplaces, a working gas lamp, and heart-of-pine flooring on the parlor and master levels. The row houses are in Crawford Ward of the Historic District. Crawford Ward includes Colonial Cemetery and is inside the area where the old city fortifications were during the Revolutionary War. And, the row houses are steps away from historic Crawford Square and are within walking distance of downtown and the river. Additionally, the designer/contractors live in one of the row houses so wanted the project done right without cutting corners. And, energy efficient features were purposefully included in the design of the house as well. This is a new house which has all the charm and design of an old house along with the conveniences and efficiencies of a new house.
