RT reporter metres from launch pad as Soyuz blasts off

Canadian billionaire and circus entrepreneur Guy Laliberte has blasted off from the Baikonur cosmodrome with the 21st mission to the International Space Station.
RT's Gayane Chichakyan was there for the lift-off.

Sure, telephoto, but I’d say she is pretty darn close anyway. The time between mainstage, and when the sound of it reaches where she is, seems to be about 2 ½ seconds. That makes it somewhere in the range of about ½ mile. You couldn’t do that here.
