Nothing more beautiful than a refit Constitution class. Nothing feels more like Trek than that ship.

Agreed. Majestic, powerful, and BALANCED. Abrams changed it for no reason. The "new" movie is a good movie, but he made too many unnecessary changes.

yep. Gold and sparkly. One of my all-time favorite effects. And Mr. Roddenberry was working on like 100 dollars a week or something like that, and even in 1966 a hundred bucks wasn't alot of money.
