  • What are all the parts that you need to have to power the looper?

  • @cinco50cero You can run the entire thing from a 9V adapter. On the looper you could install a 9V adapter jack, which has 3 terminals on it to supply 9V to the input jack, and the 9V also powers the 3 LEDs. I'm not 100% sure if it would be possible to have a functioning looper that is completely passive (requiring no power).

  • Why do you need 9Vdc ? Just for the LED ?

  • @soaring138 The 9V powers the LED's and also the input and output jacks for the continuity. Also, I've seen bypass loopers with buffer circuits on each channel.

  • hi...! you did a great job! i'm working on it... can you sell the schematics?

    bye

  • @aroundthememory I just looked those schematics up on Google. Just search for "true bypass looper wiring diagram" or some similar search. I still looked at two different diagrams just because i liked certain things about each diagram as far as how easy things were to reference.

  • @The1970sInfatuate Looking at your schematic, it looks like the common one I've seen, your looper is passive. You can do the same exact thing with no LED's and DPDT stomp switches wired exactly the same, the only thing gone is the 9Vdc power and LED's. I haven't built this one just yet, but when you unplug your power source you should still be able to switch your loops, you just won't have LED's.

  • Why would you make it su complictaed (the wireing) couldn't it be doen much simple (with 3 toggle switches that simply togle between 2 outputs (1 imput))?

  • the idea looks interesting , but the explanation ii s ss oooo booorriiinnnngg

  • @sonicsteev Thanks. I completed this entire thing in 3 days.
