I have E-300 and still happy with it. To keep noise down you will have to stay at ISO 100-200.

I used ZUIKO DIGITAL LENS 40-150mm.
Well it`s a challange to take a night time photograph even with a f2.8 lens you can see noise, but it`s very god to take pics. during the day. Now I`m pretty happy with my CANON EOS 50D but I still shoot with my E-300.
