@0kGemmyBeanOk Use Anti-Personnel rounds on them. Brute Splicers are large, so the machine gun's spread fire won't matter as much. Also, I would keep telekinesis active to get ready to throw stuff back at them and if they charge at you, get ready to counter them by whacking them with the machine gun. I know it says that this is risky, but I manage to pull it off at least half the time.
