Fight Aftermath, Chaweng Beach Koh Samui Thailand

Fight begins inside Burger King on the Chaweng Beach road. Probably just drunk tourists doing what they do best. Fight continues out into the street where taxi drivers and bystanders join in the scuffle.

But believe me, what some English, German and US guys are doing in bars - it is just shameful, they feel like the masters of the world and owners of whole Thailand. Mostly drunken racists on the trip for cheap f*ck. If they would behave like that back home, they will get killed...

When people talk about "don't disrespect the other country" I get the point. But what about the immigrant gangs in European countries. Those are nations with history, and an ethnic majority whose country it is, if Thailand belongs to Thais, Japan belongs to Japanese, China belongs to Chinese, etc. Then England belongs to the English. Germany belongs to the Germans. France belongs to the French too. So Europe should have the right to say immigrants better show respect. Or not?

The fight started over one guy who ordered a hamberger without pickle and he got pickle and he complained and the girl behing the counter threw the burger at him and he jumped the counter and started gogo dancing. Others started to jump on tables and gogo dance and a few of the girls did a ping pong show whilst others did a dart and banana show then all hell broke out when the girls asked for 50 baht for the show and no one wanted to pay.

I think both you and I have generalised the white population which, to that extent, could be construed as rather racist. Of course, this is not the intention. But looking at it objectively, the jist of the subject matter really applies to everyone and at every part of the globe. A fortiori, the rule requiring that one must respect the culture as well as the law and order of a foreign country where one visits applies to everyone everywhere.

@FATUGLYPRICK if you hang out in tourist areas, you're pretty much surrounded by the scummiest people from Thailand and to be honest, the scummiest people from the Western World. Fights are bound to happen. You won't be finding situations like this outside of the tourist areas where Thai people are genuine and not out to rip you off. And you certainly wont find a bunch of drunk hooligans getting drunk and like you said disrespecting their culture and looking for violence. Good post.

No its not normal that white people get bashed in the streets in thailand. But it is normal for white trash to visit thailand thinking they own the country, act like hooligans, disrespect social order, instigate violence and get hit, cry foul and after all that realise that they fucked up.

There's nothing to regret unless if you intend on coming over to disrespect the peace of the country and its people.
