They're actually walking/biking trails.
The one to do is 601 apparently according to the locals. When we were there though, a local freerider warned us off as the conditions were so bad! We're going back next summer to do it. You can buy maps locally of all the trails. My book says that Garda has some of the best natural singletrack in europe.
