The NBOMe series of research chemicals began being prevalent across United States in 2010. Since the dosage ranges within the microgram level, substances within this series of chemicals have been utilized illicitly as a fake LSD (Bunk Police, 2011). Very little is known about the long-term effects, safety profile, and addictive potential of this series of drugs.

Remember, research chemicals are experimental chemicals that are not approved for human consumption. This is because not enough data exists currently about their side effects, adverse reactions, long term damage, addiction potential, etc. Although some people are willing to ingest research chemicals, it is not reasonable to assume that they are in any way safe to use recreationally.

I tried 25I-NBOME a couple months ago, my first trip, Throughout my trip I was confused but I actually still found it a very spiritual experience, I was in a car with a couple friends when we tried it while one friend (who had tried it before) stayed sober, it had its highs and lows, at one point I was crying "I'm a liar" before I had completely peaked, but when I peaked I experienced the most amazing realizations with my friends, it was as if we were all in another world together, it was fun :)

there is an assumed LD50 of 25c-nbome around 15 mg. Some people already overdosed this much, had a dmt-like trip and came to reality some time later :) without any damage. i would never suggest going anywhere over 2 mg intranasal, but just to say, it's not THAT dangerous, like neurosoup says. Also the volumetric measuring method is quite reliable even for sub-milligram doses.
