Cerebral Palsy Remix

This is a remix/ mashup created to help raise awareness of Cerebral Palsy. But more importantly, I hope that after watching this you will see that children with Cerebral Palsy are just like every other child. It's sad that many times people look at someone with a physical disability and assume that it means they are mentally delayed. It is my wish that these children and their families can be embraced and better understood by the general public.

This project was completed by me (Shelle D.) for my Writing, Research, and Technology course at Rowan University with Professor Wolff. It was created using Windows Movie Maker.

Letsgo blue, hmmm... My disability is cp (cerebral palsy). Your disability is ignorance. You laugh now. What goes around comes around. Think about it... Ooops... I forgot, you aren't capable of complex thoughts. The definition of mental retardation: A conditon occuring in the developmental period that results in a low intelligence, and deficits in self-care skills.

@TheNatashapersia retard is a nasty word, but at the end of the it doesn't take away the abilities I have that I could be using to provide for myself. instead of terms like special, inspirational. which are meant to cover-up how dysfuntional and totally incapable people see us. people with CP must have differant gifts to help and serve with out seeming extra positive, some laws that prevent us from earning a penny is why I feel subhuman and should the choice to die and it is very sad.

I have cerebral palsy and it looks severe to people so why the hell am I alive? personally I think peoplee should be given the choice to die at age 18. it pisses when people call me an inspirational hero but yet it seems that I'm not allowed to get a job that I consider would a good fit with my handicap.I rather be a crippled retard. then some  admireable inspiration. There's no reason on keeping us alive
